I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter. My Easter here was actually quite boring. I didn't get to see any processions because they were held during the week while I was gone and then on Easter day I didn't end up going to the one that they did have. Granted I'm kicking myself for it now because I saw pictures and it looked awesome. Oh well, what can you do?
Anyways, I went to mass with Julia(senora) in the morning and hung out at the house for the rest of the day. She gave us a nice chicken lunch and we sat around and chatted. My Senora had an interesting morning because some jerk decided to rip her necklace off her while she was walking home. So she got robbed and was quite shaken, but don't worry everyone. She's fine, and most importantly, I'm fine. I'm not going to get robbed so don't go and let your imaginations get the best of you. It was an isolated incident that could have happened to anyone any day. But other than that it was an uneventful day. I called my mom and dad, Kelly, grammy, and Auntie Sharon so it was a good day. I spent a lot of time talking to my family and talking to Kelly about college.
Other than that I'm just trekking along and getting through the week. We have an excursion into Sacromonte, which is a part of the Granada where the gypsies live and there's gypsy caves, then we're going to a city outside Granada called Ronda on Saturday. So I'm sure I'll have much more to write about when I return!
Until then,
Love you all!
